2 women charged with robbing men of watches at hotels
ATLANTA (AP) – Police have arrested two women, saying they were robbing men of expensive watches at Atlanta hotels.
WSB-TV reports Kodi Lee Jones and Sarah Bennett were arrested Friday.
Officials say the women were robbing men at gunpoint or stealing watches and other items when victims fell asleep in hotel rooms.
Police are investigating at least 15 cases, but aren’t sure if they’re all connected.
Jones is jailed without bail in Fulton County. It’s unclear if she has a lawyer to speak for her. Jail records don’t show Bennett.
In one case, police say a man left a hotel with Jones only to be robbed by four men upon entering a store. In a second case, Bennett is alleged to have robbed a man at gunpoint of his $25,000 Rolex and wallet.
